Why Little Steps ABA was founded

Little Steps ABA was born from a firm belief that early, individualized support can profoundly change the life trajectories for children with developmental differences. We observed the limitations of one-size-fits-all services and recognized the need for a family-centered, practical, and data-driven program. Our main idea is simple: small, consistent steps, taught within natural routines and with strong family involvement, lead to meaningful and lasting gains in communication, independence, and social skills. We aim to achieve improved communication, independence, emotional regulation, and participation in home, school, and community for children. For families, we strive to provide confidence, practical skills to support their child, reduced stress, and clear progress toward their goals. Ultimately, we envision smoother school transitions, greater inclusion, and a better quality of life for both children and their families.

Meet our dedicated team

Our team at Little Steps ABA is composed of experienced clinicians (Board Certified Behavior Analysts - BCBAs) who design programs and supervise care, along with trained therapists and technicians who deliver daily teaching. We also have dedicated family coaches who focus on caregiver training and home supports, and administrative coordinators who efficiently handle scheduling, insurance, and coordination. What unites our team are shared qualities: we are compassionate, patient, and child-centered. We are skilled in evidence-based ABA methods and committed to data-driven decision making. Strong communicators, we collaborate effectively with families and schools. Our team is reliable, professional, and committed to ongoing training and fidelity, ensuring the highest quality of care for every child.

What makes Little Steps ABA unique?

Little Steps ABA stands out through its truly individualized care, where assessments drive functional, family-prioritized goals. We embrace a family-first model, coaching caregivers during sessions to ensure skills generalize effectively to home and community environments. Our approach blends naturalistic, play-based teaching with structured instruction for efficient learning. We maintain strong clinical oversight, with BCBAs designing plans, training staff, and frequently reviewing data. You'll find clear, data-driven progress through transparent session data, regular reports, and timely plan adjustments. We have a real-world focus, emphasizing communication, independence, emotional regulation, social skills, and safety. We also prioritize community and school collaboration, offering coordinated supports and community practice opportunities. Our interventions are culturally and practically responsive, fitting family values and daily routines, and we ensure therapist quality and fidelity through trained staff, supervision, and rigorous checks. Finally, we provide purposeful transition planning towards school supports, ensuring lasting success.
